erraticonstiltsso, the cobra starship concert! we had to wait in line for a while, and i made friends with these two girls who go to clemson university. i happened to find them again once we all got inside, and we decided to stick together. they invited me to go to warped tour in atlanta with them, but i'm going to be out of town D: anyway, first up was this band called deluxe, who sang in spanish, which was cool, but it was loud and they sang pretty fast, so i couldn't understand what they were saying. then came the secret handshake, who were pretty good.
then, we the kings. before they came out some girls started screaming, and i noticed trace cyrus was walking across the stage. then they started playing, and i could see trace watching from behind the drums. from the angle he was looking and where i was standing, it looked like he was STARING RIGHT AT ME, haha. he came out later and sang, at the end of a song that has a lot of "whoaaaaa"s in it. i enjoyed we the kings, i think they put on a good show. after their set, gabe came out from backstage and got low for us, haha. he also popped his head out the backstage door with his :D face on.
by this point i was about four rows back, right in front of vicky t. you guys, she is so pretty! she was wearing a low cut pink dress and black knee socks. i might have stared a little at her boobs, maybe. during one song she kind of tripped over a wire, and she and alex both laughed at that. her shoe also came untied, and some girl in the front row tied it for her. yeah, that's how close the stage was. there was like, no room between the barrier and the stage, so even from four rows back i was still super close. until i saw msi tonight, that was the closest i'd ever been at a concert.
there were some awesome gabe/vicky t moments, like when he was singing pressed up against her with his face in her neck and like, kicking one of his legs out behind him. he also liked to be all "voila this is victoria" with his hands. he also talked about how sexy pleasure ryland was, many times. oh! and he made ryland shake his ass. here, have a video of it:
gabe told a story about how at clubs he'd be in the corner dressed in black while these guys danced all up on his girlfriend, and that made him want to teach kids to dance. AND THEN HE DANCED, A LOT, AND IT WAS AWESOME.

it was a shorter setlist than last time i saw them, but i think i still enjoyed this show better because i was so much closer and way more familiar with their music. all in all, cobra are tons of fun and put on an excellent show.
i kind of forgot about taking pictures, so i only took one:
people were like, grabbing gabe's legs whenever he came to the edge of the stage, it was crazy.
also, afterwards i got to meet ryland! he's soooo tall, i think he said 6'4" or 6'5" when someone asked. he's really nice, too. picture:
let's ignore how gross and sweaty i look.
oh and also, i'm going to make a proper post about it tomorrow, but tonight i saw mindless self indulgence! i got to meet lyn-z omfg. i had to say something, because i've been freaking out about it and there's no one here to freak out with!
